How Do You Start Baby On Solid Food?
Starting on solid foods from formula or milk can be an overwhelming adventure. With a few simple tips you and your baby will be well on your way to trying many new and wonderful flavors and textures! For the first feeding, choose a time of day when your baby is in a good mood and is alert and seemingly interested in eating. A good cue for knowing that your baby is ready for food is when he or she is showing interest in your food. Start with one feeding a day, usually in the morning or in the evening during a typical breakfast or dinner time. When first starting off, rice cereal is the easiest for babies to digest and most pediatricians recommend starting here.
