Abstaining from sex until marriage is a difficult thing to do but it is also very rewarding. Saving the intimacy of sex to share with only one person in your entire life is a long road to travel but the final destination is worth it all. Start young because abstinence is best achieved through a lifestyle quite different than the current world view. Join a church. Having a strong Christian influence in your life will greatly aid your quest for abstinence. Avoid sexual thoughts, images, conversations and situations as much as possible. There is no point in teasing yourself with something you should not experience until you are married. Spend time filling your head with encouraging thoughts and simply non-sexual thoughts on a regular basis. Date people who you know feel the same way about abstinence.
