You want to do everything possible to ensure that your baby is healthy and safe. That's why it's important to properly clean baby bottles after each use. Proper care for baby bottles is important to ensure than any caked-on milk or residue is removed, as this can lead to harmful bacteria in the baby's system. You can clean glass baby bottles in the dishwasher or by hand; for either method you simply need a nipple brush, a dishwasher-safe basket and a non-antibacterial, non-concentrated dish soap for the best cleaning practices. Run the bottle under hot water after each use. Rinse all of the milk out of the bottle, turn the bottle to the side and run the threading of the top under the faucet, and then rinse the nipple as well. This will keep any milk from getting dried on the bottle. Dip your bottle/nipple cleaning brush in soapy water and give the bottle and nipple a light cleaning. Place the bottle on the upper rack of the dishwasher and put the nipples in a dishwasher-safe basket. ...  more
