The float may be sticking or the needle valves are not sitting right. If you don’t want to pay someone to clean your “carbs” for you just run some sea foam through the gas and see if that helps, or try feathering the throttle before and after you turn it off while watching for the gas to stop. I’ve been riding for 16 years and have come across this in almost every bike I’ve ridden and this was what I did to correct it. This is my opinion, so talk to a repair man also.
