How Do You Stop A Zipper From Unzipping Itself?

A zipper that won’t stay zipped can be frustrating as well as embarrassing! This is more of a “band-aid” fix, but anyone can do it–no sewing necessary. • Put on the item of clothing and zip it up. • Get a small safety pin. • Turn the waistband down to gain access to the back side of the zipper. • From the back of the zipper, push the safety pin through the fabric of the zipper beside the teeth to the front just below the zipper pull. Push the safety pin back through the zipper on the other side of the teeth and close the pin. The pin will prevent the zipper pull from sliding down.
