How Do You Store A Round Glass Tabletop?

Of all the household items you might despair over packaging for storage, glass items top the list. No one wants to finally discover the perfect place to set that vase, hang that wall mirror, or set that glass-topped table only to find that it has cracked or shattered in storage. Of course, the only way to prevent this from happening is to be sure that an item like a glass tabletop is packed and stored properly in the first place. Wrap the tabletop completely with the bubble wrap so that both sides are covered at least twice. Tape the bubble wrap to the tabletop thoroughly. Ensure that the wrapping will not slip off the tabletop's surface. Tape the polystyrene discs to the front and back of the tabletop. Ensure that the polystyrene will not slip from the face of the bubble-wrapped tabletop. Store the tabletop flat---never on its side.
