Congratulations on your new kitten! They can be fun and provide you with hours of entertainment. Here are a few things you should know in order to ensure your kitten remains health and lives for a very long time. First and foremost, before you even get your new kitten, you should make sure you have proper supplies. You will need kitten food, water, small dishes, litter, a litter box, a cat bed, and some kitten toys. When you bring your kitten home, introduce him or her to where his/her food and water is and where the litter box is found. You will want to observe your kitten to ensure he/she remembers these locations. Plan on spending quite a bit of time with your new kitten. He/she will require a lot of attention during the first week in your home.
