Tea roses are a hybrid plant that can be purchased with thorny or smooth stems. The tea rose bush produces beautiful, aromatic blooms. These roses are very popular. In fact, when roses are sent or purchased for special occasions, they are usually tea roses. Tea rose bushes take a certain amount of maintenance, but its not terribly time consuming.
