How Do You Tease Hair Into A Big Style?
• Straighten or curl your hair, or whatever you want the texture to be. (Straightening is recommended for beginners.) • Once your hair is textured how you want it, part your hair. • Next, take a piece of hair about 1/2 inch wide next to your part and toward the back. (If your hair is parted down the side, start with the side with more hair.) Hold it up in the air. • Spray hairspray along the bottom of the chunk of hair from a few inches away, whatever your brand recommends. • Take a comb and start at the top of your chunk of hair. Comb down all the way to the roots. Repeat this several times. The more you rat the hair, the poofier it will be. • Repeat these steps several times with pieces of hair, going from the back of the head to the front. • After you’re done ratting, blow dry your hair slightly along the roots at the part that is most teased. • Once you’ve achieved the desired poofiness, flip your head over and shake it.
