Some appearances are deceiving, but some are not. In small towns and rural areas, the outside appearance, may, at times, be a partial judge of the quality of the restaurant. This is not always the case, so this step-by-step only includes obvious signs, and is not to be considered a universal way to judge small town restaurants. Look at the signs. You’ll see the name of the restaurant, what type of food it serves, and whether it has a bar. The signage of the restaurant is a good indicator of the type of establishment the restaurant portrays itself as being.
