How Do You Thread A 204D Serger Machine?

0

A serger is similar to a conventional sewing machine, but it saves time by sewing many hems at once and trimming the excess fabric at the same time. The 204D serger model is manufactured by the Janome company. This is a compact machine with a wide range of features and many different stitch patterns. The Janome 204D serger has a 3/4 thread operation. Threading these machines does not need to be difficult. There is a diagram on the back of the machine that shows color-coded paths for easy threading. All strands of thread should be threaded from right to left, in order, to prevent the threads from tangling once you begin sewing. Slide thread under the guide on the top, rear side of the 204D serger machine. Be sure to slip the thread under from right to left to avoid tangling or breaking of the thread. Thread the upper looper by sliding the thread behind the guide below the tension dial from right to left. Then slip the thread behind the four guides and thread through the eye of the loope
