We have all had someone spill something on our upholstered furniture. Whether your guests have knocked over a glass of wine or your husband spilled his coffee on your furniture, you know the spill will end up being a stain. This is especially true if you have kids! To remove a Ketchup, tomato sauce or salad dressing spill. As soon as possible blot up the excess stain with a clean dry rag. Never rub the stain because you will smear it and drive it in deeper to the material. Mix 1 cup of warm water with 1 teaspoon of liquid hand soap. Make sure to use a clear liquid hand soap, nothing with color. Dib a rag into the mixture and dab on the stain, repeat until the stain is gone. To get rid of a wine stain, blot up excess wine. Press a rag to the stain to get out as much as you can. Spritz the stain wine club soda. Blot with a clean rag and repeat the process until the stain has lifted.
