The National Museum of Natural History/National Museum of Man is devoted to the study of the natural world and human culture. It features the Hope Diamond, a T. Rex and pretty much everything in between. Located in Washington, D.C. north of the Mall, south of Constitution Avenue and between the National Gallery of Art and the National Museum of American History and with three floors of exhibition space, it’s open 364 days a year. It’s a great landmark to orient yourself by if you get mixed up. Turn right and go counter-clockwise to see displays on the origins of life and fossil plants. Exhausted already?
