How Do You Train For An Interventional Radiology Technologist?
Training to become an interventional radiologic technologist takes time and dedication, and requires admittance to a formal training program to ensure students master the skills necessary to deliver quality care and be an effective part of the patient care team. There are approximately 1,000 accredited training programs.in the United States. Students may choose one of three options for training: a two-year training program in a hospital, a two-year program at a community college or technical school or a four-year program at a college or university.
