Kittens don’t use a litter box until about 4-5 weeks of age. Until then, keep them in a box with one side about 4 inches high. Line with a couple of towels and change out the towels daily. Eventually the kittens will climb out of the box and explore. Keep them contained to one room, like a bedroom. When they’re little, they need to be able to find the litter box quickly. We block it off with boxes until they’re about 6 weeks old. Then they get the whole room to run around in. We line the nook with the same material movers use to make a temporary runner on people’s floors. It looks like a huge roll of adhesive-back saran wrap. You can keep it down for a month and it won
