How Do You Treat A Yeast Diaper Rash Naturally?

0

All babies get diaper rash but a yeast rash can be especially painful and is indicative of a weakened immune system. While bad cases should be dealt with at the doctor’s office, there are some things you can do at home to naturally treat and prevent yeast overgrowth in your baby. Assemble your arsenal. Tea Tree Oil(TTO) is sold at more grocery or drug stores but I prefer Grapefruit Seed Extract(GSE) even though you may have to go to a health food store to find it. Acidophilus can be found at the same places but sometimes has to be refrigerated so you may have to ask for it. Start with a clean slate. Anything that has touched the rash can hold yeast for days and must be treated. Wash everything that has touched your baby with 10 to 20 drops of TTO or GSE and add vinegar to the rinse cycle of your washer. Get ready to treat the rash. Mix 10 drops of TTO or GSE with 2 ounces of water and keep it in a covered container near your diaper changing area. Spray or wipe on the TTO or GSE solutio
