How do you trim a sheet of Lexan plastic?

I took two 2x4x8 and placed them on edge, spaced them 1/2″ apart and used two pieces of scrap wood on the ends to keep them evenly spaced using sheet rock screws. The line on the lexan that I wanted to cut goes directly above this space between the 2x4x8. I then made my cut using a jig saw with a wood blade. As stated before make your cut slowly. Mine came out fantastic.
