Plug your FoodSaver vacuum sealer in. Start with the most obvious and then work your way up. In your excitement to use your vacuum sealer, you may have forgotten to plug it in. Check the FoodSaver vacuum sealer bags for holes or leaks. Small leaks or holes can prevent the vacuum sealer from doing its job properly. While it's creating a vacuum on one end of the bag, a small hole can allow air to seep in on the other end. Ensure that food didnt' catch at the point of seal.
