How Do You Troubleshoot The Maxell DVD-LC Lens Cleaner?
The Maxell DVD-LC Lens Cleaner uses brushes on the underside of the disc to clean the laser lens inside a stand alone DVD player. There are a few procedures that will ensure that the Maxwell is able to work properly to clean the lens. No special expertise is needed, nor will you have to disassemble either the Maxell or the DVD player that it is going to be used in. Press the “Open/Close” or “Eject” button on the DVD player’s remote. Wait for the disc tray to eject. Place the DVD-LC disc onto the disc tray. Gently rotate the disc to ensure that it is properly seated in the disc depression of the disc tray. Press the “Open/Close” or “Eject” button on the DVD player’s remote to close the disc tray. Place a bath towel on a table. Place the DVD-LC disc face down on the bath towel (i.e., with the shiny side facing up). Hold the credit card vertically.
