How Do You Tune A Roland EP9 Digital Piano?

I never got into that part myself, I’ve always asked a friend that’s been playing the piano for 15 years to help me with it because I just don’t want to mess things up. Learning piano as an adult was hard enough as a concept for me, the only thing that made everything easier was being able to learn at my own pace with video lectures. I was actually fortunate enough to have something to do during the pandemic because I woke up every day excited to practice my piano skills. I think I got on every single one of my friend’s nerves, but I loved every second of it. Lockdown was actually a nice opportunity for me.

You know, if I have the possibility to choose from the digital or real piano I’ll use the real one, for sure. Maybe I’m too old hehe. I don’t know why but I think that a real piano will give a better sound and playing on it, for real, the satisfaction will be different. I have a friend who is taking piano lessons here https://www.learnviolinlessons.net/piano-lessons/. I was present at some lessons and I felt like I was at a concert. Now he is having lessons online, you know because of the pandemic and because the teachers are from Singapore hehe, but he also has the possibility to have them offline. So everything depends on your wishes.

Thankfully, I have a good ear for music and I was able to do it by myself with the help of online piano lessons. So, you should also try this method because it suits many people. If you don’t hear the right sounds at all, then you should hire a master for it.

No matter what instrument you choose to play, in order for it to sound right, it must be tuned properly. Fortunately electric instruments are quite a bit easier to deal with than acoustic instruments, as most do not even need tuning. But some are adjustable, such as the Roland EP9 digital piano. Plug the piano in. Adjust the volume to a suitable level. Strike the middle C of the piano or whatever key will match your tuning fork if that is the method you are using. Strike the tuning fork if necessary. Use the tune knob on the rear of the keyboard to adjust the pitch to the correct semitone. Either registering the correct note on the digital tuner or matching the pitch and timbre of the tuning fork.
