There is so much to learn with the new DTV. Hopefully this helps. First, turn on your TV to channel 3 or channel 4 depending on your preference. When you turn it on you should get a screen with snow on it. Then turn on your DTV box assuming you have hooked everything up correctly. (Make sure the cables go from your antenna, to you DTV box, to your TV or VCR set). A screen should start to appear and it might give you a welcome screen. On the menu bar, search for the “autoconfigure” feature. This will search your channels and soon it should either say completed or no channels found. The trouble right now seems like the signal does not go as far as it used to under the analog era. You might be short changed for a little while until more infrastructure is built. You may now channel surf using your new digital TV. If you are having trouble getting channels, move your antenna a little bit then try searching all over again.
