Unlocking a stuck seat belt from a car door holder does not require special tools or devices that can damage or destroy the seat belt. A commercially available degreaser product is all that you will need. Open the door on the side of the car where the seat belt is stuck inside the car door holder. Place paper towels on the seat that is closest to the car door holder to protect the surface from the degreaser spray that will be used. Wrap a paper towel around the car door holder and the seat belt to protect the outside surfaces of both as well. Remove the lid from the can of degreaser spray.
