How Do You Upload Files To An Ftp Server?
• Find out the “URL” of the FTP Server that you want to upload to, for example; ftp://example.example.com • Go into “My Computer” and right-click on some empty space. “Click Add Network Location”. If this isn’t there, go to step 9. • A setup wizard should pop up. Click the next button. • Select the “Custom Network Location” button and click next. • Type the link from before (ftp://example.example.com) • If this is a non-passworded FTP, then tick the “sign in anonymously” box. If you need a username and password uncheck this, and type in your username. • Then type a name for the location (it could be “Example Server” or something) Click next and finish, and it should work. It might prompt you for your password; if so type this in and press enter. • In the location bar (that says something like “C:/Users/Example), type in the FTP address from before (ftp://example.example.com). It might prompt you to log in, in which case put in the appropriate username and password.
