When your Asthma is managed, you: •Will not have symptoms like wheezing or coughing •Will sleep better and most likely will not miss work •Can take part in most physical activity •Should not have to go to the hospital Before using your inhaler: 1. The inhaler should be at room temperature. 2. Check to make sure the canister fits in the plastic actuator. 3. Look into the mouthpiece to make sure there are no foreign objects there. Prepare your inhaler before you use it the first time or if you have not used it for 14 days or more. The inhaler must be primed so you get the right amount of medication.
