Searching for gold bolts adds another challenge to the popular shooter-style video game series, “Ratchet and Clank.” The series introduces new plots, villains and weapons in each game but the gold bolts are a constant in all of them. Earned bolts are used to gain skill points so the player can unlock videos and costumes. They also enable the player to trade original weapons for upgraded gold versions with more power and ammo. Find the 40 hidden gold bolts scattered throughout the 15 planets. A planet information screen will display how many gold bolts are hidden on each planet.
