Fill the bottle about halfway with a carrier oil, such as sweet almond oil. Add enough fragrance or essential oil to fill the bottle three fourths of the way. Cap the bottle and shake to mix the oils together. Insert about six to 10 thin rattan diffuser reeds into the bottle. Fan the reeds out so that they are not straight up and down in the bottle.
