How Do You Use The Ronco Rotisserie?
Preparing delicious whole poultry is uncomplicated with the Ronco Rotisserie. Ron Popeil, founder of Ronco, simplified the instructions to five words, “Set it and forget it!” The rotisserie has been available in several models and colors over the years, but the basic design is the same. Most come with three items for use inside the machine, a drip pan, a spit rod assembly, and a basket. Mastering your rotisserie will be quick work. Wash the drip pan and spit rod assembly in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry both items with a clean kitchen towel; place the drip pan in the bottom of the rotisserie. Rinse your poultry in cool water and pat dry with clean paper towels. Remove the innards from the bird; the giblets and neck should not remain inside during cooking. Flavor the poultry with the desired seasoning. Use twine to secure the legs and wings to the body of the bird. Simply tie the twine to prevent these parts from making contact with the heating element. This twine will be re
