WeatherBug Desktop is an application that you can put right on your desktop. Get weather information with just a click of a button. With WeatherBug Desktop, not only do you get general weather, you can also view current storms and get alerts when extreme weather is on its way to your area. WeatherBug Desktop is free, but with a paid subscription, you can even change the skin and get weather information for friends and family. Go to WeatherBug and download the desktop application. You put in your zip code and simply select “Run” or “Open” when the pop up appears. Install the program with the easy-to-understand directions. You will be asked for your zip code and then can chose a location closest to your home to get current weather conditions. View the weather conditions such as temperature, heat index or wind chill, dew point and forecast.
