How Do You Visit Angeles National Forest?
With its close location to Los Angeles, Angeles National Forest provides a day or weekend getaway for those who want to experience nature. There are over 500 miles of recreation trails and several lakes to provide activities. Dense woods and elevations of over 10,000 feet offer great views and photo opportunities. Drive the Angeles Crest Highway through the San Gabriel Mountains. This 66-mile winding road takes you past the Devils Canyon Overlook.
