The 2008 Games of the XXIX Olympiad will begin on August 8 at the Beijing National Stadium. The games run through August 24. Many fans made plans months ago, yet there is still time to make arrangements to travel to the games to see them–here’s how. Begin with the tickets. Make sure you can get them. Order them as soon as possible from websites like gotickets.com, or beijingticketing.com (see Resources below). Cosports plans to offer some tickets at the games themselves, but don’t wait, since demand will be fierce. If you’re used to dealing with scalpers, be aware that China looks askance on them and reserves the right to dishonor anything bought that way.
