Paso Robles, once a quiet California town, now has about a hundred wineries, some small, some large, some quite secluded and others easy to find. This area produces some terrific award-winning wines. It’s fun to visit a few of them on a weekend (or several weekends) and taste and buy some of those wines. When you tire of sampling the grape, you’ll find there are many other activities to enjoy. Paso Robles is also very convenient to some of the most beautiful parts of the California coast. Start your visits right in the heart of downtown Paso, where there are several wine shops and tasting rooms.
