How Do You Wash An Angora Sweater?
Angora sweaters are beautiful, soft and luxurious. Angora is made from rabbit fur and or goat hair. They are quite pricey to buy and can be equally as pricey to own if you take them to the dry cleaners every time they need to be washed. You can wash an Angora sweater yourself, but you have to know how in order to not ruin it. Fill a sink or bathtub with barely warm water. Add about 1 tablespoon of a clear liquid hand soap. Do not use any soap that has dyes or perfumes. Swirl the water around to mix the soap into the water and make it a little sudsy. Place the Angora sweater into the water. Push down on the sweater and gently squeeze, use the same action as if you were kneading dough. Continue to do this all over the entire sweater. Do not twist or pull on the sweater. Let the water out of the sink or bathtub ad refill with clean water, press down and gently squeeze the sweater. Let the water out of the sink or tub.
