I don’t recommend you to do it yourself. I think you should ask some professionals for help with it. Take a look at the service from https://www.nevadaresidentialservices.org/las-vegas-air-conditioning-service/air-conditioning-repair/ I am pretty sure that they will help you with this task, and you will be happy with everything. Good luck 😉

HVAC thermostats depend on your home’s individual HVAC system in order to operate. They work equally well with low- or line-voltage wiring. Once the temperature changes, the thermostat sends signals to the HVAC equipment. The signals tell that equipment to turn on or shut off. Read these tips to learn how to wire an HVAC thermostat in your home. Locate an interior wall close to the middle of the house where you can install the HVAC thermostat. Use insulated screwdrivers to attach the box of the thermostat to the wall. Fish the power cable through the box. Tighten the cable using cable clamps. Attach a low-voltage transformer to the side of the thermostat box. Join the power cable’s white and black wires to the transformer’s black wires. Use a wire connector to attach the grounding wires to a grounding pigtail. Secure the opposite end of the grounding pigtail to the grounding screw within the thermostat box. Fish wires from the HVAC thermostat and the transformer through the thermostat.
