0.15 is the same thing as 15 hundreths or 15/100. Using one of the laws of division, we can divide both the top and the bottom of the fraction by the same amount to get an equivilant fraction. Dividing by the greatest common factor (GCF) will get you the fraction in simplest form. The GCF is 5 so when we divide both sides by 5 we get 3/20.  more
