How Do You Write A Speech Conclusion?
The conclusion of a speech is often the most important element in connecting to the audience. It provides the opportunity to leave a lasting impression, to make an emotional appeal and to present your own reflections on the subject matter that you just have presented. The conclusion should be as well-crafted as the main body of the speech. Don’t rush it. Take the time to develop an eloquent ending that will leave the audience wanting more. Review the major points of the speech. Start by restating the central idea of the speech and then summarize the points of the argument. Recapping the major points helps the audience to absorb the content and substance of the speech. Let them know why your subject was important, what the central theme was and how your speech answered or solved the questions that it raised. Leave room for future discussion.
