How does a mother create that “bond” with her children?
The bond comes from caring for a vulnerable baby taking care of all it’s needs,feeding cuddling and being their for baby with your time and patience,however I have to disagree with the fact that bonding is instant (in my case anyhow) as with my first child she was planned but I had terrible post natal depression and did not “bond” until she was eight months old,however I do realise every one is different and when I had my eldest daughter in 1980 post natal depression was not talked about in fact I did not know what was wrong with me until many years later.
