How does a narcissist react to ignorant behavior?
I don’t think there’s any way to really hurt a narcissist, unfortunately. I know one that is SO ugly. But he thinks he could be a model if he was half a foot taller. He has average intelligence, but he has said on a number of occasions that he is a “genius.” He got his friends to fill out an anonymous online survey about himself, and he got rated a 5/10 for intelligence and 2/10 for looks (amongst other poor marks). His reaction? Oh, EVERYBODY who took the test (including me, apparently) was only joking around. So to conclude, you could stick a huge banner in your friend’s living room saying “F*** you, you self-centred p****”, but if he’s a true narcissist then he’d probably be impressed with himself that he was important enough to have a banner, and would just laugh at the words like they nothing important.
