Though they are mentally sick, they themselves are not totally responsible for what they are, there are various other contributing factors. Power has always been the center of a serial killer’s thinking. These people are seriously obsessed with being in a position of power, be it sexually or in general life. They somehow like the feeling of being in charge and they will go to any extent, to make sure they are. This psychology branches from the background of child abuse, neglect and low self esteem. The children who grow up with a feeling of being unwanted and unloved, tend to become very violent and assertive in their adult life.
