How does african lion catch its prey?
Lions usually hunt in clandestine groups, composed mainly of several lionesses. They tacitly and soundlessly stalk there prey, wielding the cover of night and foliage, encircling and creeping as close as possible to their fated victim. Normally, at around 30 meters distance from their quarry, they reveal their mortal presence, dashing from their seclusion in a chorus of flashing fangs and raw claws. In a frenzied and dusty rush, they throw down their luckless victim, drawing the life blood from their squirming and hapless frame.
