How does Alltel Wi-Fi compare to Alltel Wireless Internet (EVDO)?
Alltel Wireless Internet uses wireless technology called EVDO to provide mobile broadband Internet access. EVDO is broadcast from towers throughout Alltel’s wireless network. Wireless Internet blankets thousands of square miles of the United States with broadband Internet access. Alltel Wi-Fi service provides wireless broadband access in specific locations called hotspots.
