How does Assured Office differ from other products?
Assured Office is based on MS CryptoAPI which is available freely with Internet Explorer 4.01 and above and uses open standards based X509 certificates for signing and encryption. Its main competitors on the other hand, use proprietary technology for signing and encryption. Assured Office provides support for verification of multiple signatures on a single document. Other competitive products do not verify all the signatures on a document. They verify only the signature with which the document was signed last. It provides for certificate-based policies to be defined. This allows users to define usage of certificates based on their type. E-Lock’s main competitors do not allow integration with certificate-based policies. Assured Office also provides real time checking of digital certificate status using the Certificate Revocation List.
