How does Childrens Miracle Network raise funds for Akron Childrens Hospital?
Many special events and grassroots fund raisers are conducted year-round through a partnership of individuals, corporate sponsors, and media partners working together to ensure healthy kids in their communities. Corporate sponsors sell paper Miracle Balloons, 98.1 WKDD broadcasts our annual “Have a Heart, Do Your Part” Radiothon, and college students hold campus fundraisers just a few of the programs generating much-needed dollars each year to provide the life-saving care and crucial services kids need.
