How does EMDA handle “outlier” data?
It is very common in data analysis to exclude “outlier” data and this is why any data which was “excluded” during the analysis will be highlighted in the EMDA report. Outlier data in its purest sense is data that is not representative of the data collected and thus should be excluded from the analysis. However, there are times when the outlier data is exactly the data you want to focus on and should not be excluded. EMDA handles outlier data on a case by case basis.
