How does EventLink compete with other larger event-planning companies?
A. We offer a different level of service. We are small enough to be very flexible, but large enough with our combined experience to work with large companies. We come in and work with our client’s internal marketing departments and fill in any holes. We’re flexible and great with our customer service. Everyone is treated like a VIP. Another advantage is that we are fee-based instead of commission-based, which helps us pass on savings to our customers. Q. What are companies looking for when planning their events that they were not looking for two years ago? A. Many of our clients have greatly reduced their budgets, but have allowed us to be more creative with what we do with those budgets. Because of the economy – and the lowered prices – there are many more opportunities to get into hotels and recreational events that we couldn’t have otherwise. Q.
