How does GA lottery head to lead national lottery group?
The president and CEO of Georgia Lottery Corp. has been named president of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries. Margaret DeFrancisco was selected during the national organization’s annual conference last week. She is set to serve a one-year term in addition to her current role at the Georgia Lottery. Under DeFrancisco’s guidance, the Georgia Lottery is the only traditional lottery in the U.S. to see 11 consecutive years of profit increases. One of her goals at the helm of the national organization is to implement the monumental agreement to cross-sell Mega Millions and Powerball in all U.S. lottery jurisdictions.
