How does geothermal energy convert to electricity?
Geothermal Energy (produce through Geothermal Power plants) is used to produce the energy that drives the turbine and the electromagnetic rotor which creates flow of electrons (or electricity). In other words, Geothermal energy does not convert directly to electricity but it is used to drive equipment (turbine-electromagnetic arrangement) that produces electricity. This is the way every other energy sources work. Superheated fluid from deep down the ground is converted into steam by an approach called crystallizer-reactor clarifier technology. The steam produced is then used to drive the turbine that generates electricity.
