How does handicap betting work?
Handicaps are types of bets where special conditions are set for declaring the winner of an event for betting purposes – regardless of the real outcome of the game. Asian Handicap is a form of betting where one of the teams, the underdog, is given a head start in order to balance a match. This means that they are given a virtual lead in the match, while the favorites are given the equivalent minus handicap, for instance -0.5 and 0.5. If you place a bet on -0.5, you will win the bet only if your team wins. If you place a bet on 0.5, you will win the bet only if your team wins or the match ends in a draw. 1×2 with Handicap (3-way handicap) is a form of betting where the draw outcome is possible, giving you 3 potential bets. Example: 1×2 with handicap (-1) – you place a bet on home and the match finishes 1-0. After you include the parameter into the score, the final score will be 0-0. This means you have lost your bet. In order for you to win the bet the match must finish with a home win
