How Does heat affect the viscosity of a liquid?

Viscosity is the resistance to flow of a liquid, ie, high viscosity is thick like molasses and low viscosity is fluid like water. Increasing the temperature of a liquid will reduce the viscosity, so they are inversely related though not necessarily proportianately inverse. more
