How does Lee National Denim Day® work?
Each year, the first Friday in October is designated Lee National Denim Day – a day when supporters nationwide come together to put on their jeans in exchange for a $5 contribution to the fight against breast cancer with the goal of raising millions of dollars in a single day. Initially, the campaign was geared toward those in the workplace, but today anyone can start a team of friends and family and put on their jeans together as an act of solidarity in the fight against breast cancer. Since 1996, nearly $80 million has been raised to fight breast cancer as a result of Denim Day¨.
