How does LocateMyLaptop remotely track and protect computers?
A. LocateMyLaptop tracks the location of your computer using a small and undetectable software agent (LML Agent), enabling the computer to report its location to LocateMyLaptop’s confidential and secure Monitoring Center each day (or as scheduled by your subscription plan) you connect to the internet. As well as collecting location data, the LML Agent software also collects User, Hardware and Software information to help business owners track and manage their laptop computers. If your laptop computer is stolen, you can initiate a Remote Data Delete* request so that sensitive data on the laptop computer is deleted the next time the computer calls in to our Monitoring Center.
